“ I am intrigued with how inner processes come to light through relationships. My paintings are narrative featuring family members, friends, media and film images, dreams and architecture. I look for a feeling that is elusive yet familiar, and lies in the construction of the space. The presence of things meeting with the presence of other things including the space, inspires me. Studying in the arms of a reified art scene punctuated by earth works, Alice Aycock, Anselm Kiefer, and a revived figurative tradition I align myself with surrealism, and my personal experience"
